Training on Critical Access Hospitals and Regional Trauma System

Rural Health Partnership, WellFlorida Council and the Florida Department of Health are hosting a free course entitled Critical Access Hospitals and Regional Trauma System Partners Improve Patient Care Through Collaboration. The agenda for this training session will include:

Uniform Trauma Transport Protocols
EMS and Emergency Preparedness Issues for Critical Access Hospitals
Pediatric and Geriatric Trauma

MIECHV Offered in Marion County

The Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Education Home Visiting program (MIECHV) is now available in Marion County. Services are offered through Kids Central, Inc. and managed by WellFlorida Council. Call 352-547-3730 for more information.

North Central Florida HealthCare Coalition (NCFHCC) is accepting applications for projects that support one of the following capabilities: Continuity of Operations, Emergency Operations Coordination, Information Sharing, Medical Surge or Mass Fatality. The request must demonstrate relevance to NCFHCC’s mission: Coordinating preparedness and resilience through all sectors of the healthcare system.
