SUMMARY:

The Program Improvement/Quality Assurance Specialist works under the direction of the HIV/AIDS Program Director to manage and coordinate department-wide efforts to ensure program improvement (PI) and quality assurance (QA) programs for Ryan White and HOPWA are developed and implemented, using a data-driven focus to set priorities for improvements aligned with ongoing strategic goals and objectives. This position assures PI/QA initiatives are focused on improving program/client outcomes, efficiencies and effectiveness; coordinates, conducts, analyzes and synthesizes community-specific needs assessments;  participates in strategic program planning; provides leadership for PI/QA policy development; coordinates evaluation of the HIV/AIDS programs’ impact on community health outcomes; researches and develops PI/QA training programs that facilitate improvements in the HIV/AIDS Care Network; tracks compliance, manages and submits primary and subcontract deliverables to the local Florida DOH contract manager; provides staff assistance, support and planning expertise to the local Ryan White Consortium; and assumes responsibility for program operations in the absence of the Program Director. Position must be able to function with a high degree of independence and considerable discretion. Summary:

This position requires health planning and administrative knowledge, skills and ability in the coordination, development, and achievement of major agency projects for both internal and external clients. General responsibilities include: individual project development and management; assigned management and coordination of project workflow; collecting, analyzing, evaluating, and presenting research information, plans and programs for health system and health policy development and community health improvement; marketing and outreach of WellFlorida products and services for the purposes of cultivating new projects, clients and revenue streams; and regular presentations to key constituencies including government, public and private entities. General Description

The HIV High Impact Prevention Program Coordinator is a professional position that is responsible for the coordination, development and achievement of the HIV High Impact Prevention Program. The HIV High Impact Prevention Program offers HIV testing, outreach and education; evidence-based programming including Business Responds to AIDS (BRTA), Popular Opinion Leader (POL), and Anti-Retroviral Treatment and Access to Services (ARTAS); and uses various marketing techniques to promote HIV High Impact Prevention Programming in a 15 county region. The HIV High Impact Prevention Program is a team of multiple staff with additional assistance from volunteers and practicum/intern students. The HIV High Impact Prevention Coordinator will oversee the provision of all program activities to ensure successful delivery of HIV High Impact Prevention programming.
