WellFlorida’s Board of Directors is composed of healthcare providers, purchasers and non-governmental consumers. Members serve for two years and are eligible for reappointment by county commissioners in the counties where the member resides. Under the Boards’ direction, areas of emphasis are established, including the formation of cost-effective health planning that is responsive to the health needs of residents in the following Florida counties:
