Documentary focuses on postpartum depression, mental health

Join WellFlorida and Healthy Start for the screening of Dark Side of the Full Moon; a poignant documentary on postpartum depression as well as a range of other mental health issues mothers face during and after pregnancy. Since these issues effect not only mothers but those around them, comprehensive education is crucial to understanding what women deal with and giving them the support they need. The documentary is being shown on Tuesday, May 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hippodrome Theater in Gainesville.

One of Healthy Start’s missions is to provide support and counseling to women with postpartum depression. Information on the Healthy Start program will be distributed at the screening, and you can use the hashtag #standwithmoms to show your support for this documentary.
